Please
submit your book cover, author photo, or any other graphic as a zipped
email attachment.
|
|
All
graphics must be a high resolution for good print quality.
Resolution:
300 dpi or better (If you aren't sure of the resolution, send us the
file and we will let you know if it is usable.) Full PDF files preferred
for book covers.

|
Preferred
file format:
Best
choice: Full PDF's of cover art available from your publisher on request. (Also
acceptable: .PSD, JPG, TIF)

|
Please
include the text for your bookmark within the body of the
email. If you aren't sure what text to include, here are some
suggestions:
Author
Brand or Tag Line, Author website, Book title, Author name,
Publisher, ISBN, Teaser line about the book, Short blurb
(about 100 words), A few review quotes about the book. |

artwork submitted must include 1/8" bleed and be cropped down to
size. |

What
file formats are accepted?
PDF
(Preferred format), TIFF, JPG
|
|
What
file resolution is recommended?
Please
submit your files at 300 dpi.
|
|
What
color format do you accept?
We
accept CMYK color format exclusively. Please DO NOT send RGB, your
file’s colors will change.
|
|
How
much bleed does each document need?
Please
leave 1/8 inch around your entire document. This will enlarge the document
size you submit by .25 inch (1/8 on each side) and will be cut off after
printing.
|
|
Images
and Text
Please
keep all text and important images (images that do not bleed) an
additional 1/4 inch inside the final cut line. This will ensure your image
and text will be centered on your piece and much more pleasing to the eye.
|
|
Borders
We
advise not using borders in your artwork. Borders can make even the
straightest cuts look crooked.
